See the washing of the golden Mahamuni Buddha at 4.00 a.m.
Watch the sun set behind the teakwood Amarapura bridge.
Climb the stairs of the old capital of Sagaing and marvel at the vast array of pagodas and monasteries
Take the early morning boat up the Irrawady to visit the massive, unfinished pagoda at Mingun and see the world's largest (uncracked) bell.
Visit the Kuthodaw pagoda to see the world's biggest book; 729 marble pages in individual pagodas.
